1. What cargo hold cleaning services does NaviTide provide?

NaviTide provides cargo hold cleaning and preparation services for bulk carriers, including conventional cleaning, high-level cleaning using rope access, and riding teams that can carry out cleaning while the vessel is underway.

The cleaning plan is developed considering the previous 5 cargo, intended next cargo, conditionof the holds (photographs required) and the cleanliness standard required for the upcoming loading operation.

Rope access is mainly used for gearless vessels (can be extended to geared vessels also) and it allows cleaning teams to safely reach elevated and restricted areas without relyingextensively on scaffolding or shore-based access equipment. It can also help reduce setup timeand improve access to areas that might otherwise remain untreated.

Yes. NaviTide provides riding squads for cargo hold cleaning that can board the vessel and carry out cleaning during the voyage. This allows bulk carrier cargo holds to be prepared while sailing, helping the vessel arrive at the loading port ready for hold inspection and reducing potential delays.

Rope-access work is carried out using trained personnel (IRATA Certified), appropriate equipment, risk assessments, rescue arrangements and established safe-working procedures. Equipment is inspected and checked before use in accordance with applicable requirements.
